According to various reports, Jose Benavidez Sr is initiating the process for his undefeated son to face the former IBF super middleweight, Caleb Plant. Though it is still uncertain. But the hint that talks are in progress between best super-middle weights and longtime rivals is enough to get media attention.
Why David Benavidez and Caleb Plant are rivals?
Notably, both fighters have already got enough attention through their links with the undisputed super-middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez. As of now, according to Box.Live, ‘The Red Flag’ is going to trade leather with David Lemieux on 21st May 2022. The fight will land in the United States, though the arena is yet to confirm.
