Jamaican track sensation, Usain Bolt, is widely regarded as one of the greatest sprinters of all time. And is even considered one of the most successful Olympians of the 21st century. This success has certainly paved way for an impressive net worth. However, it seems like financial troubles have come looking for Bolt. According to recent reports, Bolt was “scammed” off of a major chunk of his life’s savings. Meanwhile, Mike Tyson‘s son, Amir Tyson took to social media to stand in solidarity with the track legend.

Bolt is an eight-time Olympic Gold medalist, and also holds the record for being the ‘Fastest Man on The Planet’. He was recently shocked to learn that $12 million was missing from his savings account. Notably, he had an account with the Kingston-based investment firm Stocks and Securities Ltd. It is reported that the account was a part of his life and retirement savings.

As reported by Fortune, in a recent interview, Linton P. Gordon gave his take on the issue. He said, “It’s distressful news for anyone. And certainly in the case of Mr. Bolt, who established this account as part of his private pension.”

The investment firm’s manager was recently replaced by Jamaica’s Financial Services Commission after allegations of fraudulent activity.

Additionally, Gordon also gave an ultimatum to the investment firm. And revealed his plans to take the case to the Supreme Court if the money is not returned to his client’s account in eight days.

In a recent Instagram story, the younger Tyson stood in solidarity with Bolt. He posted an image of the news article, and also mentioned that the situation was “messed up”.
