The former middleweight champion shared a video on her Instagram story. In the video, a woman advises people not to keep their cell phones in their pockets. She also went on to share a simulation of the radiation being emitted can affect the penis and testicles which can lead to long-term problems in people.
“A recent consumer report in the United States advised that nobody keep a phone in their pocket and this is just a little simulation here of the radiation. As it moves and one of the things we know is that the dielectric constant of the penis and the testes is rather high. Because they are full of fluid. More fluid in a part of the body, the higher its absorption will be,” she said.

Do cell phones produce harmful radiation?
It is no surprise that people fall into the trap of misinformation, including Ali who might have dropped the ball with this one. It is true that cell phones emit radiation. However, a cell phone will only emit non-ionizing radiation when in use which is not harmful. This means that the radiation from cell phones is safe for use and cannot cause cancer in the human body.
In addition, The National Cancer Institute has stated that there is no consistent evidence that non-ionizing radiation increases cancer risk. However. it becomes easy for people to be persuaded by misinformation which is rampant in today’s online world.
