Now, as self-made millionaires, they don’t shy away from talking about their hard-lived past. Mike Tyson and Kevin Hart recently connected on the former’s HotBoxin podcast.

The duo spoke about how it was like growing up with their fathers, and both men seemingly related to one another. When Tyson explained how he was afraid of his father, Kevin Hart pinpointed a surprising incident.

The US actor said, “My dad is nuts, my dad is nuts legally. Like legally nuts, my dad would f*** you up. He is older now, he on the other side. But my dad is nuts.”

“My dad got hit in the face with an ax and still won the fight. I’ll never get it.”
