Gervonta Davis and Devin Haney have continued to have a go at each other after Haney’s victory over Yuriorkis Gamboa. The 21-year-old WBC champion beat Gamboa convincingly via unanimous decision to defend his belt. Despite this, it was not the performance ‘The Dream’ and his fans were expecting.

Davis responded with a tweet saying, “Hold up and ole boy posting me… just know I made more money than you last night and the other two people that fought the other night. All put together…. CLOWNS”

Haney clapped back by saying, “I’m getting millions at 21 GOOFY”.

Devin Haney challenges Gervonta Davis to fight him

Davis hit back and questioned Haney’s power. He said his daughter hits harder than Haney. ‘The Dream’ then called him out by tweeting, “They say everything but let’s fight”. He even added a duck emoticon at the end. ‘Tank’ told him to grow up and suggested that he is a PPV star while Haney is not. Things then took a sour turn when it became personal.

The 21-year-old tweeted out saying, “The little fatboy hate me and fear me at the same time”. This clearly did not go down well with Gervonta Davis who accused Haney of using cars he hasn’t paid for.

This rivalry has taken center stage ever since the fight, and it doesn’t look like it will end anytime soon. Haney said he wants to make the big fights happen; however, Davis might consider fighting Ryan Garcia instead.

Garcia called out Davis and given his following, he is certainly the more marketable opponent. It remains to be seen if the two will settle their differences in the ring, but this war of words looks set to continue for a while.
