“I think certain boxers have auras around them like Canelo, like Taylor, like Lomachenko. And you think they’re unbeatable that it like they’re indestructible and then someone comes along and beats them just shows that they’re human and I think pursuing has shown that in Katie,” said Jonas.

In her last fight, Jonas fought Terri Harper for the unified super-featherweight titles. Both the fighters gave in their best shot and this bout ended in a split decision draw. The Brit has moved on from this fight, and her ultimate aim now lies in boxing the Irish pugilist Katie Taylor on May 1.
