NBA star Damian Lillard has just made his own pound-for-pound rankings in boxing, and interestingly, he has shuffled a lot of names compared to the official rankings of ESPN.

After Teofimo Lopez’s win over Vasyl Lomachenko, the pound-for-pound list has been the talk of the town. All the divisions have their respective world champions, and they have constantly proven themselves. That said, it’s hard to pick the best out of them.

However, Lillard has outlined his own rankings, putting several A-listers like Canelo Alvarez, Terence Crawford, Tyson Fury on his radar. While some of them have also made it to the official ESPN rankings, Lillard has added a few more boxers in his rankings. Here’s a look at it.

NBA icon Damian Lillard reveals his pound-for-pound rankings in boxing

The Portland Trail Blazers point-guard has recently tweeted out to put his pound-for-pound rankings on display. Like the ESPN rankings, Terence Crawford is in the top spot.

Interestingly, as it proceeds, we see a lot of variety in Lillard’s rankings. Following Canelo Alvarez, Errol Spence Jr., Oleksandr Usyk, Tyson Fury, and Teofimo Lopez are in the next slots. Lastly, Lillard has put Charlo, Gennady Golovkin, and Gervonta Davis to conclude his rankings.

Fans haven’t failed to react to the tweet. Here are some of the best replies to it.

Although all the selected boxers have proved themselves to be the best, Lillard still considers Crawford to be the top-gunner. Despite not appearing in a fight for the whole of 2020, ‘Bud’ is still in his own league. He will fight Kell Brook on November 14 and try to retain his undefeated streak and global rankings.
