Negotiations for “World’s Biggest” Fight Purse, Worth Over $500 Million, Underway

Boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather is known to make the most lucrative fights in boxing. However, this time the crown for the biggest fight purse is going to be on another champion’s head. British boxing promoter Frank Warren is in talks to make the biggest boxing match possible.

It has been 13 years since ‘The Gypsy King’ tiptoed inside the boxing ring, and he has constantly stunned his fans with breathtaking performances. His decision to retire from the sport came as a disappointment to his fans, but now the king has decided to come back for a magnanimous clash, but he revealed on his Instagram that it will require half a billion.  

Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua met for a much-anticipated rematch on August 20th in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Apparently, the latter lost to the Ukrainian fighter for the second time. The rumors about a fight between the winner of this bout and Tyson Fury had been floating in the air even before the fight. And now finally the fight that everyone was waiting for is in the talks. 

Fury posted on his Instagram that the talks about the Usyk and Fury clash is underway, and fans can’t be more delighted about it. The British boxer had announced soon after Usyk won against AJ that he will fight the Ukrainian. Take a look at what Usyk iterated after his glorious win.

Usyk stood in the middle of the ring answering questions, and he mentioned, “I’m sure that Tyson Fury is not retired yet, I’m sure. I’m convinced he wants to fight me. I want to fight him. And if I’m not fighting Tyson Fury, I’m not fighting at all.”

He made a big statement saying that he wants Fury or else he is not fighting at all. Following that, even ‘The Gypsy King’ did not hesitate to accept the challenge. Fury stated, “I will annihilate both of them on the same night. Get your f—ing checkbook out because ‘The Gypsy King’ is here to stay forever!”  

Well, Fury wants to annihilate Usyk and Joshua, but now there are chances that AJ will fight Fury’s former rival, Deontay Wilder. Fans are eagerly waiting to witness these iconic match-ups inside the ring.
