The boxing world is buzzing after a surprising interaction between former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson and seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady. Tyson made an appearance at AT&T Stadium on Sunday, attending the Dallas Cowboys game against the New Orleans Saints and soaking in the atmosphere of the iconic venue before his fight against Jake Paul.

In a clip shared on X by talkSport editor Michael Benson before the kickoff on Sunday, ‘Iron’ Mike is seen approaching NFL legend Tom Brady for a conversation, surrounded by media and flashing cameras. However, some of Brady’s questions to the 58-year-old about his upcoming cross-generational bout against Paul didn’t sit well with fans.

Mike Tyson is never scared—Tom Brady should have known

The legends of their sports shook hands and embraced at midfield before Tyson playfully and gently jabbed Brady in the chest. However, the conversation that has the boxing world crying foul saw Brady ask Tyson “Are you a little scared?” possibly referencing Tyson’s upcoming fight against Paul on November 15th at the same venue.

Tyson chuckled and quickly responded, “I should be.” After this surprise interaction with Brady, Tyson put on a Micah Parsons No. 11 Cowboys jersey and moved on to squaring off against Jake Paul, who was also at the venue to watch the game. The duo stared each other down and shook hands before heading in separate directions.

While Tyson didn’t seem too bothered with the interaction, fans didn’t see it that way, as they took to the comment section to roast Brady for his question.

There’s no doubt both parties have an extensive following in the country, but Brady’s questions seem to have riled up all the Tyson fans. One user could not believe Brady just asked that question to the ‘Baddest Man on the Planet.’ The user wrote, “Did brady really ask tyson if he was a little scared?” There was a time in boxing history when everyone else in the heavyweight division was scared of Tyson.

The next user was unbothered about the interaction and seemed happy to see the two sporting legends together. “An absolute legend, deserves respect everywhere he goes 👏,” the user commented. However, the conversation seemed forced and an obligation for the media surrounding them.

Meanwhile, the interaction between Brady and Tyson made this user feel that Brady might have asked Tyson to head his security. “Rumour has it, Brady has asked Tyson to head up security for tomorrow……,” the user remarked. Well, Brady might have to pay an unusually high salary to Tyson for that job.

Hearing Brady’s question, this user shared a warning for Brady. The user commented, “Tom, be careful he’s got a mean right hook.” In reality, Tyson has a lot of mean punches in his arsenal, not just the hook.

Another user highlighted Brady’s question made Tyson uncomfortable. “Asking Mike if hes scared of Jake Paul is nasty work.. u can tell Mike was uncomfortable and a lil p***ed when brady said it 😂,” the user wrote. Tyson didn’t seem to mind the question, but if he was upset about it, Brady dodged a bullet.

That said, it turns out there are questions you could ask Mike Tyson that might get you punched. Luckily for Tom Brady, ‘Iron’ didn’t take it to heart. However, did Brady’s question warrant such a response from the fans? Let us know in the comments.
