Worlds collided when former NFL player Chad Johnson confronted Jermall Charlo. Charlo is a professional boxer who made his debut in the year 2008. In the year 2019, he defeated Jorge Sebastian to become the WBC middleweight champion. Meanwhile, Johnson too has dabbled his hands in the sport of boxing; in the year 2020, he fought Brian Maxwell on the undercard of Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. which resulted in a draw. Though his skill sets in the ring are not comparable to the former champion.
Not to mention, the two were also seen training together a few years ago and recently, both of them were having a casual chat when Johnson asked him when the two were sparring. To this, Charlo had made a hostile response, which escalated the tussle between the two.

One fan named Eric thinks that Johnson is being too overconfident. He stated, “I think because he trained with the Charlos and they were going easy on him he thinks he can withstand their punches, precision, and pressure. It’s different at that level. Ocho doesn’t want those problems. Those texas boys hit HARD”
