Unlike one-punch killers, Canelo Alvarez likes to hunt down his opponents with a barrage of shots until they are left drained. Alvarez aims for the body and head, in a repetitive format that gets sharper as the bout goes the distance.

However, the 31-year-old is also capable of scoring wins with one clean shot. It was something he did sensibly against Amir Khan back in 2016. While we talk about Alvarez’s technical skills all the time, his punching power is often overlooked.

Canelo Alvarez – Winning and Everlast Gloves

Per reports, Alvarez used the Winning brand for a pretty long time in his career. The high-quality gloves are manufactured in Japan, Asia and provide long-lasting durability. After becoming a superstar pugilist, it made sense for Canelo Alvarez to don his own gear. No Boxing No Life is the brand that has become a popular symbol in the world of combat. Alvarez has attained several highlight-reel wins by wearing the gloves and it’s not just him.

Super featherweight and lightweight stars like Ryan Garcia, Oscar Valdez, and Gervonta Davis also use accessories from ‘No Boxing No Life’.

Alvarez has even expanded his brand to the golf community. Being a part-time golfer, Alvarez uses ‘No Golf, No Life’ on the greens. Apart from these, Alvarez used several boxing brands during his rise to the top.
