Former world heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson, is an example of putting one’s words into action. However, the modern world is chock full of individuals who are competent in talking the talk, but not walking the walk. People have also found it extremely hard to handle criticism of any kind. In a recent interview, ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ wasted no time addressing this issue that plagues the sport of boxing and the world in general.

Tyson was recently in an interview with Tucker Carlson of Fox News, as part of the ‘Tucker Carlson Show‘. Moreover, the duo was engaged in a passionate discourse about Tyson’s life and journey.

Mike Tyson believes that people talk too much

In conversation, Tucker Carlson mentioned that he is particularly fond of Mike Tyson’s iconic quote. Notably, Tyson had said, “Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.”

Carlson then proceeded to ask Tyson if he still stood by that quote. Tyson responded by saying, “A 100 percent, because people now, especially now, no one is going to fight. People like talking now. They get on a stage, they get on YouTube, and start talking. That’s why some people, some people are not made for handling criticism. Some people go to the deep end if you criticize them.”
