“Nobody Can Beat Me”: Canelo Alvarez Sends a Special Message to Dmitry Bivol Ahead of His Fight Against John Ryder

Undisputed super-middleweight champion, Canelo Alvarez, is all set to showcase a sensational performance against John Ryder. Moreover, the fight which will take place in his hometown of Guadalajara will see him defend his titles against Ryder. Alvarez recently took a shot at the light heavyweight title in a fight against Dmitry Bivol. However, he was unsuccessful in securing the title. Meanwhile, it looks like he has a message for Bivol ahead of the Ryder fight.

Alvarez recently had the media workout for his fight against Ryder. In conversation, a reporter shed light on the fact that he threw more punches in his rematch against Gennady Golovkin. Additionally, the reporter also asked him if he would do the same in a rematch against Bivol. Alvarez, nodded in agreement, saying, “Yeah, the second fight with Golovkin, Eddie say you need to throw 100 punches more. So that’s what I did and I win.”

He further mentioned, “With the fight with Bivol, we know we need for that fight right. I’m not in my best. But, if I’m able to train 100%, nobody can beat me.” Alvarez also added that he would be training extra hard and competing more in preparation for his potential rematch against Bivol. He also stated that fans could expect the resurgence of the 2021 Alvarez.

During the interview, Alvarez made it a point to address the recent Plant vs Benavidez showdown. And mentioned that Plant’s performance has regressed since he fought him.

Meanwhile, Benavidez has been constantly calling Alvarez out for a fight. Talking about the same Alvarez said, “No, he is a good fighter. Everybody say the same thing before I fought with Golovkin. He’s a monster, he is gonna knockout Canelo. At the end of the day, being in the ring with a different fighter and being in the ring with me is different.’
