‘Nobody Is Unbeatable’ – Billy Joe Saunders Feels Ready for Canelo Alvarez

Billy Joe Saunders has explained his decision to take on P4P star Canelo Alvarez. The WBO super-middleweight champion respected his fellow champion, but claimed he has what it takes to beat him. He also explained how he would beat him.
The two champions have long been rumored to face each other. However, following Alvarez’s win over Avni Yildirim, they officially announced the fight. The Englishman has now explained why he took up the challenge against Alvarez.

Saunders spoke to BoxingScene and explained that to be great, you have to dare to beat the other greats. He then added, “I believe I am the only one with the footwork, knowhow, skillset, mindset and brain to unlock that door in Canelo.”
The talented southpaw then admitted that the WBA and WBC champion is the main man in the sport. However, he showed that Alvarez doesn’t intimidate him.
“You have to give him respect, he hasn’t ducked anyone, he’s beaten good names, but nobody is unbeatable, and I believe I have got the tools to beat him,” said Saunders.

Billy Joe Saunders looks to build his legacy
Going by his comments, the super-middleweight champion did not hide the amount of respect he had for his fellow champion. Therefore, it showed that he knows how tough this fight will be. So taking this fight will do a lot of good for Saunders.
