WBA regular lightweight champion Gervonta Davis is set to face the toughest test of his career in Ryan Garcia this April. The two have long been rivals calling each other out for the better part of two years. Despite this, a bout between the two never materialized which will finally change this summer. However, for Davis, the past few months have been a rollercoaster ride with many thinking that he won’t be able to fight this year.

Back in December last year, ‘Tank’ was taken into police custody after the mother of his one-year-old daughter accused him of assault. However, Davis did not plead guilty to the charges which were later dropped by his baby mama. Now, it looks like she is ready to move on from this whole saga after sharing an uncanny message on her social media handle.

Vanessa Posso shared a post on her Instagram story where she had a message for single people. According to her, not every relationship will lead to the prospect of marriage but will rather inspire people to stay single. “Not all relationships will lead you to marriage. Some will inspire you to stay single,” she wrote.

This was certainly an interesting post by Posso given her history with Davis. However, the current champion has far more on his plate as he needs to be a hundred percent if he wants to beat Garcia who is certainly motivated. With that being said, ‘Tank’ has a one-year-old daughter who he might be separated from given his current controversies.

Who is the one-year-old daughter of Davis and Posso?

The name of Davis’ daughter with Posso is Giovanna Thalia. Moreover, she has been featured on her mother’s Instagram account on multiple occasions. Thalia is not the only daughter of Davis who also has a child with his ex-girlfriend Andretta Smothers. However, his relationship with his other daughter was strained after he lost the custody battle following the split.

Davis is also the stepfather of Posso’s child from her previous relationship, Jada Milan, and looks after him as well. When it comes to relationships, ‘Tank’ may not have an ideal record, but in the ring, he is still undefeated. Moreover, if he wants this streak to continue, he will have to go through a tough rising star in Ryan Garcia and prove to everyone that he is one of the best boxers in the world.
