The ex-wife being referred to here is none other than Tyson’s first wife, Robin Givens. Givens is a renowned actress and currently a star of Netflix’s popular series, Riverdale. 

In an exclusive interview with the PEOPLE, Givens shared her unfiltered reaction to Jamie Foxx’s Mike Tyson biopic movie. She said, “I felt this drop in the pit of my stomach and was like, ‘Oh no, here we go again.” Givens added, “I felt like the world was crumbling again.”

Givens is relieved after learning her relationship with ‘Iron Mike’ may not be a part of the biopic

As of now, there has been no official confirmation regarding whether Givens’s relationship with Tyson would be a part of Jamie Foxx’s Mike Tyson biopic. However, a rep of Tyson suggests their relationship won’t be a part of the biopic.

As per the PEOPLE, a rep for Tyson said, “As of now, Mr. Tyson’s attorneys have not received any cease and desist but there isn’t nor has there been any intention of including his relationship with her in his biopic. He wishes her well in all her endeavors.”

After learning about these pieces of news, Givens said, “I’m more than relieved.”
