After the Ukrainian boxers went home to serve their country, the spark of boxing seems missing in their respective weight divisions of the boxers. Surprisingly, Bob Arum indicates the return of Oleksandr Usyk and Vasyl Lomachenko in the ring in his recent tweet. He stated about the country’s support for their boxers’ upcoming matches.

Lomachenko and Usyk played their last game in 2021, and likewise, it was a victory for them. Unfortunately, they left for Ukraine to help their people.
Ukraine’s permission to Usyk and Lomachenko
The Top Rank founder, Bob Arum, shared a piece of good news for the boxing fraternity during an interview with ‘Combat Sports on Fanatic View’. He speaks about permission granted to Lomachenko and Usyk to practice for their title fight ahead.
“The Ukrainian government which is tremendous in cooperating with us, as far as Lomachenko and also Usyk. They realize this tremendous publicity value..uh.. in having them, uh.., come out train and participate in title fights.”
“Hopefully, the war will then be over, but if it isn’t, go back into defense mode. So I don’t know where that stands with either guy. Whether they’re going to accept the offer of the cultural minister of Ukraine to leave and to train for a fight.”

‘The Matrix‘ and Usyk didn’t enter the ring in 2022. However, the cultural minister of Ukraine has allowed Lomachenko and Usyk to get back in practice for their upcoming matches against Kambosos and Joshua, respectively.
Return of Oleksandr Usyk and Vasyl Lomachenko
In 2021, ‘The Cat’ was successful in snatching the crown of Anthony Joshua in his last fight. Subsequently, he was entitled to WBA, IBF, and WBO heavyweight champion, but unfortunately couldn’t fight further because of national duties.

However, Joshua intends to take back what he lost. He is waiting eagerly for Usyk to be back in the game so that he could challenge him to regain his titles.
On the contrary, Loma is on the hunt for titles to his name. He will potentially challenge the undisputed champion, George Kambosos Jr., for the WBA, IBF, and WBO titles.

Moreover, it will be interesting to watch Lomachenko taking over an undisputed boxer in his upcoming match.
