The challenger, Usyk, is an underdog in this contest for obvious reasons, but he isn’t letting the same hamper his preparations for this fight.

In fact, he’s collaborated with his amateur boxing trainer and Vasyl Lomachenko’s father, Anatoly Lomachenko. As the Ukrainian boxer knows the importance and hype his fight with ‘AJ’ carries, he’s giving his best in his preparations for this high-voltage encounter.

Recently, the Top Rank boss, Bob Arum, interacted with Sky Sports, wherein he discussed Usyk’s collaboration with Anatoly Lomachenko.

He said, “I’m telling you, ‘Don’t think that Joshua is in a cake walk. He has a really tough fight with Usyk, who is a terrific boxer.'”

“His father wouldn’t train anyone else, but he will train Usyk, because Usyk is like family.”

The 34-year-old was a prime cruiserweight before he moved up to the heavyweight division a couple of years back. Like any other heavyweight contender, Usyk, too, had strong aspirations to fight for the heavyweight world title.
