After Oleksandr Usyk’s historic performance in the rematch against Anthony Joshua, he now has his sights on becoming the undisputed heavyweight champion. To do this, he must now either face Tyson Fury or wait for him to relinquish his titles. However, it looks like Fury is ready to return to boxing after he called out both Joshua and Usyk, claiming he could beat them both.

Will Fury take on Usyk next?

Usyk already made it clear in the post-fight interview that he wanted to face Fury next. When asked about his thoughts on Fury’s retirement, he claimed that he was sure that Fury has not retired yet. “I’m sure that Tyson Fury is not retired yet,” said Usyk. He also stated that he was sure that Fury wanted to face him and that he would not step into the ring with anyone other than him.”I’m sure, I’m convinced he wants to fight me. I want to fight him and if I’m not fighting Tyson Fury, I’m not fighting at all.” He added.

The ball is now in Fury’s court. It is up to him to decide what to do next. Although a fight with Joshua would have been ideal for him, a fight with Usyk can also do well financially. Moreover, this will be a great opportunity for both fighters to go down as the undisputed heavyweight champion, a feat accomplished by only a select few.
