‘Mr. Robot’ Avni Yildirim is on the brink of stepping up for the biggest fight of his boxing career against Canelo Alvarez on February 27 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida. Both teams have already touched the United States and are ready to put on a show. However, Yildirim would remain an underdog before the mighty Canelo Alvarez.

P4P King Alvarez will put his WBC and WBA 168 lbs strap on the line, which he bagged by vanquishing Callum Smith in December. That said, there will be much more on the line for both the boxers.

While most fans picture Alvarez to emerge victoriously, Yildirim can shatter their plans in fashion. And if it happens, the ongoing structure of the super middleweight division will see some prominent changes. Avni Yildirim would suddenly be the face of the sport and it will also bring a lot more in his platter.

It’s not every day that you get to beat Canelo Alvarez, and win against him will definitely help boost standings. So, here’s what Avni Yildirim can expect if he gets his hand over the Mexican giant.

Avni Yildirim vs Canelo Alvarez- A lot in store for Mr Robot

Needless to say, Yildirim can become the new WBA and WBC super-middleweight champion by staging a victory against Canelo Alvarez. Meanwhile, it would also entitle him to call shots from his end.

Despite being an elite, the Turkish pugilist has never been entitled as a global champion but now he has the chance. Not only that, but he can also determine the upcoming title picture of the division. According to reports, Alvarez is touted to face WBO champion Billy Joe Saunders in May for a 168-lbs unification battle.

But if Yildirim bags the win this weekend, it will hamper the matchup and will possibly replace him with the P4P king. Thus, there’s a lot at stake for ‘Mr. Robot’. Moreover, a win against Alvarez will raise his name in the entire combat community.

Apart from Floyd Mayweather, none could have a crack at the Mexican. Meanwhile, an underdog like Avni Yildirim can shatter the odds to prove once again that boxing is an unpredictable sport.

There’s no way one can afford to miss the fight, especially when it has so much to gain. Titles, fame, legacy, money, the matchup has it all. But facing Alvarez won’t be a simple task, and Yildirim will have to push his limits to grab the victory.
