The former WBC Interim Lightweight title, Ryan Garcia, was roped in by Golden Boy Promotions Founder Oscar De La Hoya when he was just 17 years old. He has renewed his contract with the combat sport promotional firm over the years and happens to be one of their oldest clients.

On April 22nd this year, the world’s sixth-best active Junior Welterweight champion was knocked down by the three-weight- division world champion Gervonta Davis at Las Vegas, Nevada. This mega fight led to the first loss in Ryan Garcia’s career and he was seen exchanging a war of words on social media.
