Golden Boy Promotions’ CEO Oscar De La Hoya has made a bold admission about Ryan Garcia. The former boxer and current promoter has admitted he had his doubts about the superstar’s ability in the ring a few years ago.
Garcia is set to face Luke Campbell, who many claim is his toughest test yet. However, De La Hoya is confident about him winning the fight. He is also confident of Garcia’s chances against fellow lightweight Gervonta Davis.

One of the main reasons for this is Garcia’s social media fame. All his rivals have come out and showed their dismay at his antics and have expressed their desire to expose him as a fake. As a result, the 22-year-old silver champion gets called out by champions like Devin Haney and Gervonta Davis.
However, fans may not agree with the promoter’s comments, and the fight with Davis could be much closer. When he takes on Luke Campbell on Saturday, we will get a better idea. Do you think Gervonta Davis would be an easy fight for Ryan Garcia?
