Wilder was last seen in the ring in October 2021. He faced Tyson Fury for the WBC and the Ring heavyweight titles. However, he ended up losing the bout by knockout.

Following his loss, Wilder took a break away from the ring. And it was later reported that he will be facing Helenius for his comeback. Moreover, Helenius came into the fight with an impressive record of 31-4-0 with 20 knockouts.

The fight started slow. However, it quickly picked up pace in the very first round as Wilder went into attack mode. With barely 10 seconds left for the first round, Helenius was greeted by a brutal right hand from the knockout maestro.

Helenius was quickly downed by the powerful blow. And also seemed disoriented as he was sprawled across the canvas.
