2022 is here, and boxing lovers are eagerly waiting to see the biggest stars take the ring this year. Among all the young guns, Ryan Garcia holds some substantial weight to his name and his return is in contention for a while. For now, Isaac Cruz stands tall as his anticipated opponent.

De La Hoya, in his above tweet, seemed candid about making the Garcia vs Cruz fight. However, he made a slight blunder in the process as he tagged the wrong Twitter handle of Isaaz Cruz, Ryan Garcia, and his own promotions.

Regardless of that, the focus of everyone was on the building up of Garcia and Cruz’s bout. ‘King Ry’ fought in January last year and since then, he’s eagerly looking for a noteworthy opponent, who could advance his chances for a title fight.

That said, Cruz, at this stage, seems an ideal opponent for Ryan Garcia, and for now, there’s no major roadblock that can hamper the progress of this fight.
