While talking to ‘FightHype.com‘, the promoter mentioned something about selling his company. He said, “We are sitting on gold and I’ve never been one to shy away from a great offer. So, you know there’s several people who actually wanna buy my company and you know I’m gonna think it over, but I love the sport too much, so we’ll see what happens.”

“We’re sitting on gold,” De La Hoya claimed, implying that the corporation is a money-making machine. He also stated that if a fair offer comes along, he may consider selling the company. Let’s see whether the American boxing legend sticks to his word.

‘The Golden Boy of Boxing’ is one of the wealthiest people in the sport. He had a successful boxing career that brought him notoriety and millions of dollars. His boxing career lasted from 1992 to 2008, and he won a total of ten world titles throughout that time.
Furthermore, he launched his own boxing promotion firm, ‘Golden Boy Promotions’ in 2002. He became the first Hispanic to launch the first promotion company in the sport. Currently, the company is his primary source of revenue, allowing him to live a luxury lifestyle.
