Bob Arum gives a bold prediction on the Canelo Alvarez vs Plant fight. American promoter Bob Arum is one of the greatest promoters in the sport. From Muhammad Ali to Tyson Fury, Arum promotes the very best in the business and always sets up blockbuster fights.

In an interview with FightHubTV, Arum gave a bold prediction for the upcoming super fight between Canelo Alvarez and Caleb ‘Sweethands’ Plant. “Well, I don’t think anybody 160, 168, right now beats Canelo. But Caleb Plant is a decent fighter, he has a lot of skill and so he’s gonna give Canelo a real fight.”

“I think it will be an entertaining fight, but I must say, in my view, there’s only one winner and that’s Canelo. But Plant is a good opponent for Canelo and he’ll give him a fight,” Arum said. Canelo will take on Caleb Plant on November 6 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

On November 6, both fighters fight to etch their names in the history books. The winner of the bout will make history, becoming the world’s first ‘Undisputed’ champion at middleweight. This is a dream that Alvarez has had his eyes on since he started boxing. For Alvarez, the stakes are higher. If he wins, he will also become the first ‘undisputed’ Mexican fighter in the four-belt era.

Alvarez issued a stern warning to his opponent ahead of their fight. “I hope he has a good chin because he’s going to need it on fight night. I’m always ready. I just can’t wait. I feel strong and fast. With all of the talk, it’s become personal. He crossed a line. But I have to remain focused because this is a very important fight for me.”
