‘Who paid for the drug test?’ reveals Ryan Garcia

On Wednesday, the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association sent letters to several media outlets, revealing Garcia tested positive for a banned performance-enhancing substance called Ostarine. Then get this! Mike Coppinger of ESPN revealed Garcia has ten days to request testing of his B-Sample. However, Garcia seems to have come up with a conspiracy theory behind all this instead.

In an X post hours earlier, Garcia responded to the latest controversy, saying, “Diddy paid for the drug test Allegedly.” It’s worth noting that just moments before this tweet, Ryan Garcia shared a clip addressing the allegations against him. He said, “I came on here to address this bull f**king s**t claim that I cheated. Everybody knows that I don’t cheat. Why didn’t they come up with this before the fight, if they found it before? Why would they let me step in the ring as a cheater?”

Amidst his detailed explanation, he emphasized the relentless attempts of individuals aiming to tarnish his character, juxtaposed with his firm assertion of never having indulged in drugs, underscored by his genuine ignorance regarding the procurement channels of such substances. While Garcia has denied the use of any such substance, Devin Haney’s father has also released a statement.

Haney’s loss in last month’s fight was a shock to everyone, especially after all the antics Garcia pulled before the fight. Devin Haney went as far as to accuse Garcia of using drugs, but ‘The Flash denied any such wrongdoing. So, when Garcia’s test became public knowledge recently, Devin’s father went hog wild with his response.

According to Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated, Bill Haney told him, “You trying to hurt my baby. We played it fair. We didn’t do it like that. Fuck boxing, this is some bullshit. I came from the streets. You scared of Devin on a level playing field. I feel fucked up over this. If you can brag about doing it, you shouldn’t be on drugs.”

By the looks of things, this situation will turn into a whole thing and as more details emerge, the truth will come to light. Not to mention, Garcia’s B-Sample is yet to be tested, so fans will have to wait and see what’s in the cards for Ryan Garcia. Do you think Garcia cheated?
