Mike Tyson, the former two-time heavyweight champion always remains a little boy who looks up to his greatest hero Muhammad Ali. The duo crossed paths several times and developed a good relationship. An example of this is when Ali was fighting against the degenerative brain disease Parkinson’s alone at home, Tyson was among very few people who used to pay a visit to inquire about his well-being.
Recently a picture of that time surfaced on social media. Which shows ‘The Baddest Man on Planet’ sitting with an ailing Ali on a sofa and entertaining him with a magazine.

The signs of the early stage of the disease were visible in Ali’s last bouts. He was no more the Ali who defined himself as ‘float like a butterfly, sting like a bee’.
The nerve breakdown targeted a specific part of his brain. Doctors recommended that he should leave the camp but Ali kept training and fighting till 1981. Though shortly after retirement doctors related it to the injuries he sustained during his career, there is no conclusive proof for the same.
Despite progressing disease, Ali continued to make public appearances, and during speeches and interviews, his deteriorating health showed clear signs of drowsiness. And finally, at the age of 74, he died following chest complications.
To date, Tyson recalls his memories with Ali, whenever he gets an opportunity, often in podcasts and interviews.
How did fans react to Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali’s picture?
