Mike Tyson is yet to step foot in the boxing ring since his last fight against Roy Jones Jr back in 2020, but even at 55 the boxer looks like he could return to the ring.

Moreover, it also looks like he won’t have a shortage of opponents to face as YouTube star Jake Paul announced on Twitter that a fight between him and Iron Mike could take place by the end of the year. He posted a video of Tyson with the caption, “Thank you to the great Mike Tyson for the respect and opportunity. This year we are making it happen.”

However, Paul is not the only one interested in facing Tyson. As former British boxer, Julius Francis is also looking to make his return and wants ‘The Baddest Man ‘ on the planet to be his next opponent.

The British boxer has recently come into the spotlight after a video of him knocking out a man while working as a security guard at Boxpark. He has now become an online sensation and wants to return to face Mike Tyson, as he had this to say when asked about a fight with Tyson by TMZ.

“I’m going to put it out there. I’ve never liked talking about money, but they could put up with a decent offer, Then, who knows. I’m going to put it out there. I’m going to say we can have a rematch. I don’t know if anybody will watch it, but I’m going to say, yes.”

He then goes on to take shots at Jake Paul stating that he would be a much better opponent for Tyson and that Paul is not on his level saying, “I have a daughter that tells me ‘You’re not going to fight again,’ and I think to myself ‘Who would I fight?’ Obviously, people name Jake Paul or the other Paul or whatever and it’s a mega-fight blah blah blah, but them guys, they’re not in my category”

Will Mike Tyson face Francis?

Francis retired from boxing almost 16 years ago, and last stepped foot in the ring back in 2006. Conversely, The Problem Child is still a much more lucrative option for Tyson if he comes back. There is also no doubt that more people will tune into the fight if Paul is involved and at 55 years old, this could be a big payday for Tyson.

However, if Tyson is really looking for a tougher challenge, a rematch with the British boxer will certainly be the better option for ‘Iron Mike’.
