Billy Joe Saunders is on the verge of etching his name into boxing history as he prepares to dethrone Canelo Alvarez. A victory over Alvarez would be the icing on the cake for his successful career.

The 30-0 boxer found himself in trouble for the first time in 2015 when he said, “I think women are there for s*x, every night – hard s*x. A woman’s there for cleaning, cooking, washing and s*x.”

Furthermore, in 2017, before his bout against David Lemieux, he posted a video of himself asking a drug addict for sexual favors for his friend. Shockingly, this was not the only time Saunders did something like this.
Other controversies involving Billy Joe Saunders
The former WBO middleweight champion has found himself in recent controversies as well. This included him losing his belt thanks to a failed drug test, and a joke that went horribly wrong.
In 2018, Saunders was all set to face Demetrius Andrade and defend his WBO title. However, the champion, who tested positive for a banned substance, lost his belt and faced a ban.
