Jake Paul reportedly earned $40million for his bout against Mike Tyson. No matter how many times you hear it, it is still hard to wrap your head around the crazy figure. The match gave Jake Paul one of the highest paydays in recent times and marked the highest earnings for someone who turned pro just a few years ago. The figures have not only shocked the fans but also other fighters and celebrities are in surprise.
On Sunday, Ryan Garcia stated that fighting Jake Paul is the most profitable thing for a boxer right now. He is not entirely wrong as fighters and celebrities have been challenging The Problem Child to a fight ever since the Tyson fight. We can add one more name to that list as rapper Boosie Badazz, real name Torence Hatch Jr., not only challenged Jake Paul but also agreed to sacrifice himself in a fight against Deontay Wilder.

The former WBC heavyweight champion is recovering from an arm injury currently and last fought 5 months ago where he suffered a devastating knockout loss to Zhilei Zhang. It was his second consecutive defeat and ‘The Bronze Bomber’ is now looking for redemption. The 39-year-old is looking for an opponent and Boosie, who has spent many years behind bars, volunteered to be one if he gets crazy money like Mike Tyson.
In an interview with DJ Vlad, Boosie said, “I would get in the ring with Deontay Wilder for $20 million! I wouldn’t give a damn.” He implied that he does not care if he gets humiliated as Tyson did the same against Jake Paul, so long as he can get the same pay.
But the New Orleans rapper also made it clear that he will try his best in the fight. “I’mma throw them. I’mma give fans what they want,” stated Boosie, promising an entertaining fight. He added, “I’mma get bro 20 million for that!” referring to Tyson’s performance who was not able to give much against Jake Paul. According to the rapper, if Mike Tyson can get paid like this for such an underwhelming fight, he should not care.
DJ Vlad then mentioned the $40 million payday that Jake Paul received for the fight. With a shocked look on his face, Boosie shouted, “Jake Paul! I am next.”
It is truly a crazy time we are living in. The Problem Child earned this figure during a time when boxing was in decline. Naturally, everyone would want to fight him. However, the real numbers might be much more overwhelming than you thought. Let’s take a look.

According to reports, Jake Paul banked a whopping $2.2 million for every punch he took from Mike Tyson. The former undisputed heavyweight champion was only able to connect with 18 out of his total 97 punches.
Since then, the former YouTuber has been under the spotlight. Boxing champions like Artur Beterbiev, Gervonta Davis, and Daniel Dubois have called him out. However, the crazier thing is that it is Jake Paul, who has the power to choose anyone between them.
A few days ago Ryan Garcia also jumped into the mix and challenged El Gallo. On Thursday, Garcia accepted to FightHype that a fight against Jake Paul would do wonders. He predicted the fight would cross at least 1.5 million pay-per-view buys as it is a match that everyone wants to see.
