The duo went toe-to-toe back in May 2021, and the fight resulted in Saunders losing more than the fight. But what happened to Saunders?

In a recent interview with talkSport Boxing, Saunders revealed details about his comeback to the square ring in the undercard of the much-talked-about fight between Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn.

Former rival of Canelo Alvarez reveals Eddie Hearn is trying to get over some hurdles

During the interview with talkSport Boxing, Saunders began by asserting that he and his team were waiting on Eddie Hearn for a date. “We’re just waiting on Eddie with a date,” he told talkSport. He went on to acknowledge that Hearn is trying to make the Benn vs. Eubank Jr. fight and speculated his bout would be on the undercard of that fight. “Obviously, he was trying to make the Eubank-Benn fight, and I think the date was gonna be on the card,” said Saunders.
