Oleksandr Usyk recently defeated Daniel Dubois in August. Despite controversy with ‘Dynamite,’ Usyk has already arranged his next fight. He will fight Tyson Fury in Saudi Arabia in December or January. Moreover, Fury has a fight lined up with Francis Ngannou this month. Most people expect Fury to beat ‘The Predator.’ After he does, he’ll face Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight title.

Moreover, promoter Bob Arum stated that Fury could earn $200 million from these two fights. The fight between ‘The Gypsy King’ and ‘The Cat’ is big news. The negotiation for the fight has been going on for a long time, with myriad reasons getting in the way of the bout being finalized. Now, Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk have signed contracts for a championship fight. However, some people still have doubts about the bout. This is because a reigning World Champion is in disbelief regarding the fight’s manifestation.

The champion is none other than Sunny Edwards. The British Boxer says he won’t believe the fight is happening until he sees both fighters in the ring. As Edwards said, “Until I see them get in the ring; I don’t believe it.” Furthermore, he also shared his viewpoint regarding the fight. Sunny thinks both fighters have strong points. Fury has a size advantage, but Usyk has very impressive boxing skills. Like he said, “I think it’s one of those situations where you can pick reasons for either fighter. They’re both very, very high-level, and I think—um, you know—Fury’s probably got some size advantages. But the pedigree of Usyk, you know, he’s probably one of the most accomplished fighters the world has ever seen across any generation, ever.”

Furthermore, Edwards doesn’t think size and weight alone will decide the winner. He believes Fury will use his size and power, while Usyk will focus on being hard to hit. Edwards thinks the fight will come down to timing and mobility. As he says, “Fury, I think, is using his size, making his range count, making his weight count, maybe the power advantage count. For Usyk, it’s about being a hard target to hit. I think getting Fury over his front foot and scoring when it’s time to score—um, it should be easier to be a bit more efficient; it should be easier to be a bit more mobile.”
