Exhibition fights have turned into a trend in the boxing world. They are slowly taking over the sport. Many boxing legends and celebrities across many verticals lace up the boxing gloves to fulfill their wish of fighting inside the squared circle, thus entertaining the vast boxing masses.

Citing that, the former boxing champ, Ricky Hatton, too, has expressed his interest in taking up an exhibition bout. In fact, he wishes to lock horns with another veteran in Oscar De La Hoya.

Recently, talking to Metro, he said, “I’ll have a move about with Oscar De La Hoya if the opportunity comes! Oscar was a hero to a lot of people in boxing so it would be interesting even if it is only an exhibition. To share the ring with him and find out first-hand how good he was and maybe still is.”
