However, he is already looking past his next fight and weighed in on his potential opponent. Robeisy Ramirez is the WBO featherweight champion in the sport currently. In a recent interview, the champion’s manager acknowledged that Ramirez is a credible boxer but a fight with him is not a big blockbuster event. According to Boxing Scene, his manager stated, “Robeisy (Ramirez) is good but can’t sell.”

That being said, his team has already planned someone more appropriate for them. In the same interview, he revealed that they are considering a fight against Naoya Inoue. The Japanese boxer has burst into the scene and recently legitimized himself after defeating Stephen Fulton for the title via a devastating knockout. He stated, “We would love to welcome Inoue to the featherweight division after Joet Gonzalez,” He added, “We know that’s the fight we want.”
