Former world heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson, is undoubtedly one of the most iconic boxers of all time. Meanwhile, when talking about reel life, Sylvester Stallone and his character, Rocky Balboa, have graced the boxing rings of the silver screen. In fact, a recently resurfaced photograph showed both legends in a single frame.

The photograph showed Tyson and Stallone jovially posing for a picture. While the caption mentioned that the picture is from 2000. It can is speculated that the picture might have been taken earlier. Stallone had previously contacted Tyson for a role in one of the Rocky movies. However, he later had a change of mind about getting into the ring with ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’. Stallone even hilariously mentioned that he was ‘too young to die’.

Tyson, on the other hand, wanted to get into the ring with Stallone. And was even given a place in the audience while the reel boxing match took place. But Tyson did not take up his offer.

Stallone also had a few choice words to say about Tyson ahead of his fight against Roy Jones Jr. He said, “You’re talking about, I mean – everyone knows it, Mike Tyson is a wrecking ball.”
