Fair to say.” Rolly Romero’s response was candid yet respectful. “Yeah, he can crack. He’s strong, he’s very durable,” he acknowledged, giving Cruz his due for his formidable physical presence in the ring.
But when it came to delineating his own superior skills, Romero’s confidence shone through. “What does he do good? He comes forward and he throws a lot of punches when he comes forward. So that what he does good,” he elaborated on Cruz’s aggressive strategy.
However, Romero didn’t hesitate to assert his own advantages. “What do you do better?” the interviewer probed. Romero asserted, “Everything I think. I move a lot better. I would say I’m a lot more precise.” This comparison not only highlighted Romero’s belief in his comprehensive skill set but also subtly pointed to a more strategic approach against Cruz’s straightforward onslaught.
Romero’s confidence is for sure through the roof. In another interview, he talked about why some people can’t stand him.

Rolly Romero, spoke to Elie Seckbach of ES News. Romero, sees his rapid success as a possible source of envy. “I mean, I became champion with 12 fights and then became champion with 16 fights,” he claimed. But it’s not just his achievements that set him apart. “I am the most outspoken boxer,” Romero declared, highlighting his distinct presence in the sport.
He further added, “They are just mad [because] I walk into every room with the biggest d*** energy there is. And the thing is, they can’t compete with it. I have big d*** energy, that’s all it is.” This unabashed confidence, Romero believes, is what other fighters can’t stand.
