The viral video of Rolley Romero knocked down while sparring in the Floyd Mayweather gym has taken the boxing world like crazy for some days. People started criticizing Romero after the video went viral, as in his last match with Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis, he got defeated with the same punch. However, Rolly Romero’s boxing coach Cromwell Gordon Bullet shares some inside stories of the video.

While speaking with the boxing media house Fighthype.com, Rolly Romero’s coach Bullet, condemned the event. He shared that someone’s sole purpose was to get noticed by Floyd Mayweather and it might be the potential reason behind the shameful act. He also put out two-person, who are probably the main ones behind posting the video.

Floyd Mayweather is the reason behind the viral video

If any boxer gets knocked down during sparring, it is shameful and embarrassing, but it becomes worse when someone captures the video and posts it online. The same thing happened with Romero. The incident happened between Rolly Romero and J’Hon Ingram in Mayweather’s gym.

The training was going well, but it turned upside down, when a huge hook from J’Hon Ingram pushed Romero a he fell to the ground.

Fighthype asked about the viral video, “Seeing the fact that, you know the footage [Rolley Romero knocked down] has been leaked out and put out. Do you have an Idea how or who or what not like [leaked the footage]?”

Coach Bullet replied, “Like well it was, a few kids in the gym I trained a couple of them and they moved on to Otis because they wanna be signing Mayweather one day, they think that’s the road. Anyways, You got to perform. So it was either, between Jorion or the little Asian Kid, Ethan that probably leaked it.” It is clear from his conversation, it was all to get noticed by Mayweather. But somehow it went bad.

He also gave the reason for the suspect, “Because, that I saw the shoes, the blue shoes, and saying the red trunks, you know what I’m I know exactly who it is, you know what I’m saying, but end of the day, I don’t know who’s permission, Who gave permission to do it. One thing to have a video and there’s nothing to post it, You know when I see other people posted.”

Gervonta Davis knocked out Rolly Romero in the same way

It is not the first time that Romero was knocked out in the same fashion. In his last match as well, he saw the same happening.

In 2022, he called out Tank Davis for a match. The fight did not last long and in 6th round, Tank Davis knocked out Romero in the same way with a hook.
