Roy Jones Jr. Favors Tyson Fury to Beat Boxing Legends Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson

Boxing is one of the most competitive sports in the world. Even retired fighters are often compared to current athletes by fans. However, Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson are two such boxers who always top the list. Surprisingly, former world champion Roy Jones Jr. has put Tyson Fury above Ali and Tyson.
In a recent podcast, Jones was asked about his top three boxers, and he answered, “Sugar Ray Robinson, Roy Jones Jr., and Tyson Fury.” He further added, “If you got Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali, them two dudes are very difficult to beat. Now he has a chin, he(Tyson Fury) don’t have the best chin, but he is six nine, they got to reach it, they got to get to that’s what caused Klitschko problems that would cause Wilder problem. That’s what causes everybody, probably calls anybody he’s going around with pride.”

Well, ‘Captain Hook’ feels that Ali and Tyson might be difficult to beat, but Tyson Fury has a height of 6’9”, which makes it difficult for boxers to hit him. Interestingly, he also placed himself above Tyson and Ali on the top three list.
Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. settle scores once and for all
Both the fighters belong to the same era, and both have been sensational during their heyday. Both the boxers were strutting their way to the top, but it never came to them being against each other inside the squared circle. However, Jones Jr. was offered $40 million to go up against ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’, but it did not materialize.

‘Iron Mike’ retired from the sport in 2005, while ‘Captain Hook’ was still active in boxing until 2018. Despite the fact that the latter was active in the sport more than a decade than Tyson, yet the Kid Dynamite outclassed him inside the ring.
