Roy Jones Jr. is increasing his training ahead of the fight with Mike Tyson. The legend of the sport is set to return to the ring on November 28 at the Staples Center. The fight will be an 8 round exhibition event. However, the fighters will fight for the ‘Frontline Battle Belt.’ After an eventful press conference, Roy Jones Jr. now shared a video of him training hard.

Roy Jones Jr. is not going into the fight unprepared

In the press conference, Roy Jones Jr. confirmed that it would be crazy to go into the fight without preparing. And now the former multi-weight champion seems to be taking his training up a notch. The two fighters will have slightly different rules for the fight. Instead of the traditional 3-minute rounds, they will have 2-minute rounds. Despite this, going at it for 8 rounds will require a fair bit of training.

It also hasn’t helped that Mike Tyson has been training for a much longer time. He looked in much better shape than his counterpart. And he even sent out a warning to Jones in the press conference. Tyson said he hopes Jones is coming to fight because he will be coming to fight. Thus, again stressing the fact that this will not be just an exhibition event, but an actual fight.

The only question for fans is whether Jones has enough to cut it against Mike Tyson.  It will be a difficult task. And if his knees are giving way, then it will only make things more difficult. Either way, this fight promises to deliver a few fireworks for the fans. Only time will tell if both fighters were adequately prepared. The fight will be available on www.tysonontriller.com.
