After Israel Adesanya demolished Paulo Costa at UFC 253, he quoted one of the greatest boxers ever, Roy Jones Jr. Surprisingly, Jones Jr. took a note of it and responded to the shout-out on his Instagram.

The build-up to the fight was tense as both opponents took shots at each other at every chance they got.

The fight started with both fighters taking a very cautious approach. This was very unusual for Costa, as he is known for his high-pressure fighting style. Adesanya eventually picked Costa apart with leg kicks and finished him.
