Roy Jones Jr. to Boxing Legends: ‘I’m the Easiest Person in the World to Make a Fight With’

In November 2020, Roy Jones Jr. fought ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’, Mike Tyson, in an exuberant exhibition bout. This fight stirred the fighting universe and went down as one classic boxing entertainer of all time.

However, both the fighters just didn’t wish to stagnate themselves there, thus looking ahead to fight again.

Recently, ‘Captain Hook’ was in an interview with ‘Behind The Gloves’. Here he shared his notions on lacing up the boxing gloves yet again.

With the young guns, I ain’t messing up with the old guns either with nobody. I’m trying to mind my business then people like Glenn McCrory called me, I think I can beat you. You can’t beat me, but if you want to try, I mean go get the money right. I’ll give you that try, I’m the easiest person in the world to make a fight with.” said Jones Jr.

Jones Jr.’s exhibition clash with Mike Tyson sold a whopping 1.6 million PPV buys. This fight was one of the most-watched events of 2020 and predominantly the sport.

Jones Jr., in a chuckle, admitted that he doesn’t wish to battle either the young guns or the veterans. But at the akin time, he admitted he’s one easiest opponent to book a fight with.

Moving further, he even named an opponent for coming back to the ring again, and it’s Glenn McCrory, who he’d called out earlier.

Jones Jr. and McCrory are some exemplary veterans in the game. Both of them are hungry to lace up the boxing gloves and fight for a social cause.
