He proudly added, “And now I’m training with him every day, sparring with him. Obviously I’ve got to get him in shape for this fight he’s got with Mike, but just a lot of learning.”

Now, this ain’t a Sylvester Stallone reel but a real life. It is just amazing to learn that a youngster is helping a retired 51-YO biggie to prepare for his fight. He said in absolute astonishment, “This is something that I never dreamed in a million years I would be doing, helping Roy Jones to fight Mike Tyson.”

Who has better chances: Mike Tyson or Roy?

The two (Roy and Eubank) are traveling to Pittsburg in a couple of days to train there. The Next Gen Chris Eubank Jr adores both Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr as his all-time favorites. But he believes Roy has an advantage over Iron Mike. RJ fought his last bout against Scott Sigmon in 2018, where he won by unanimous decision after 10 rounds. But Mike has been out of the ring for the past 15 years.

Eubank says, “He’s the type of guy, boxing is everything to Roy. I’m not saying it’s not everything to Mike, but I think after Mike retired, boxing became something he used to do and he lived another life.”

The two greats will battle for eight rounds. They are not in their prime and it would have been a better treat to watch if they had fought in 2003. Still, the exhibition match will not disappoint the fans.
