A few days back, the news of a fight between Canelo Alvarez and Jermall Charlo took over the internet. Earlier, Canelo was in the news to battle WBC cruiserweight champ, Ilunga Makabu for his title. Without this contest being official, fans and fighters already began picking their favorites between the two.

Charlo and Canelo have remained top rivals in the boxing space. The feud between the two men went on since Canelo competed in the middleweight landscape. In 2020, Canelo shifted his entire attention to the super-middleweight roster.
Right from the start, Canelo‘s aim was to conquer all the belts in the 168-pound frame. That said, he beat the likes of Callum Smith, Avni Yildirim, Billy Joe Saunders, and lastly, Caleb Plant. With this, Canelo became the first man in history to have all the super-middleweight titles under his wing.
