Garcia said, “All jokes aside, I’m praying for him.”

This comes as a result of the constant back-and-forth that the fighters have engaged in. Both have promised to knock the other out and ‘expose’ them. However, Garcia has now given a fresh perspective.

Garcia then re-iterated, “I’m serious, I pray that Luke Campbell is OK after this fight. I pray that Luke Campbell is able to walk.”

He claimed that despite all the bad-mouthing, he wishes the best health for his opponent. And given that boxing is a sport of utmost respect, this will not surprise fans one bit.

The comments also suggest Ryan Garcia is confident of winning

Fans will start questioning whether the beef is fake or real. However, despite Garcia admitting that he is praying for him, the comments don’t change anything.

This is because these comments only show how confident Garcia is of knocking out the Englishman. It shows that the American is so confident that he is praying for the aftermath of the fight.

Therefore, these words will not change the hostility of the fight. We can still expect both fighters to go all out and make a statement to the division as well as shut each other down.

The fight promises to be a cracker and hopefully gives us a great start to the year. Who do you think will come out on top when they meet in the ring?
