Amanda Serrano tweeted about her own scorecards before the official results got announced.

She wrote, “117-111 Haney! Great Fight!! #Salute to both”

“I had it exactly lol I tweeted it before anyone said it Yay the judges & Maning got it right,” she later added.

Haney’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, wrote, “Another brilliant fight..respect to both! And Still!!! @Realdevinhaney – @georgekambosos let’s go for the real undisputed!!!”

Haney’s rival, Ryan Garcia, couldn’t stop himself from tweeting. He wrote, “Good fight but The hunger to do something special was not there.”

Boxing bigwig Teddy Atlas wrote, “Diaz timed him there, but still too little too late. Haney unanimous.”

Boxing journalist Michael Benson wrote, “Devin Haney beats Jojo Diaz by unanimous decision to retain his WBC lightweight title. Best win of Haney’s career to date.”
