Ryan Garcia often makes the headlines for his comments about other fighters. But this time, he is here for a whole different reason. In a recent pinch, the Victorville native found himself filming a clip with Bobbi Althoff, an internet personality with a podcast of her own. And it would be an understatement to say that the fans didn’t like their interaction.

‘KingRy’ will fight Devin Haney on April 20 in Las Vegas, but the exact location for their fight is still up in the air. Meanwhile, the 24-1 boxer turned to social media today to share the clip featuring Althoff, where he attempted to teach her some boxing.

Ryan Garcia chases Bobbi around the room!

Garcia shared the clip on X (formerly Twitter) with a caption that read, “Bobbi, this is going to be great.” In the clip, Garcia can be seen hitting the pads, with Althoff holding them up apprehensively. As Garcia shows off his speed and power, he tries to demonstrate how he would change his stance to beat an opponent. 

This ends up scaring Althoff, who childishly runs around the room with Garcia chasing after her. Though the entire interaction bordered on cringe, fans could not sit through it with the same enthusiasm as KingRy. After the clip went viral, the comments section of the post started ringing with shots at Garcia and some of them are even funny.

Fans find the clip “awkward to watch”

After the clip saw the light of day, it attracted hundreds of fans to the tweet, who speculated about their unusual behavior. One user highlighted that Devin Haney is busy training for the upcoming fight, whereas Garcia is busy playing with Bobbie. 

Another user, in response to the fearful way she was holding up the pads, asked Bobbie to never enter the ring.

Someone else didn’t seem to be a big fan of Althoff, who asserted the clip was “cursed” and they could not watch it.

The next user brought up Garcia’s fight against Gervonta Davis, highlighting Tank’s brutal knockout of Garcia. 

One user remarked that the clip was extremely awkward to sit through.
