“And uh, you know I appreciate those moments but obviously, there’s a new chapter now, uh, but I don’t have no hard feelings towards him. I wish him the best and I think he’s obviously a great, great person and a great fighter,” he added.

Garcia describes his past relationship and the memories he shares with Alvarez. Likewise, he wishes to solve the rift between them and get back their brotherhood. Garcia’s statement shows that he still respects Alvarez and has no hard feelings against him. In addition, he wishes Alvarez for his future and portrays him as a good person.

Ryan Garcia and Canelo Alvarez were fighting under Golden Boy Promotions for quite some time. Moreover, Alvarez has guided the young Garcia and also given him directions for his future success. According to the interview with DAZN, Garcia spent approximately 3 – 4 years with Alvarez preparing for around 5 fights.
