Ryan Garcia will realize his dream if Manny Pacquiao actually steps inside the ring against him. Though the fight is not officially booked, fans saw how much it means to ‘KingRy’ as the WBC Interim champion is willing to set aside bouts against Gervonta Davis and Devin Haney.

That said, he is eyeing an actual fight with Pacquaio and not just an exhibition. Although exhibition bouts have become common in recent times, Ryan Garcia wants to test himself against Pacquaio on a competitive level. Still fresh from his TKO win over Luke Campbell, Garcia appears confident of bagging the win. He recently came to live on social media to address the upcoming fight.

Speaking about his possible bout with ‘Pac-Man’, ‘KingRy’ said, “Just want to make it real clear. My fight with Pacquiao will not be an exhibition. It will be a real fight, shooting for 12 rounds, all on the line, our records on the line. Just want to make that very clear for everybody.”

There’s no denying that Pacquiao vs Garcia can be a massive blockbuster as it will pit a legend against a young superstar. But, Golden Boy President Eric Gomez doesn’t see it happening.

Despite Garcia’s willingness to fight, Gomez doesn’t find it fruitful to stage. So, we might miss out on the clash if the contractual works don’t fall in place.

Speaking with ESPN, Gomez said, “There is nothing to talk about it, they did contact us, but it turns out that there is nothing to talk about, the fight is not going to take place.”

Meanwhile, Ryan Garcia and Manny Pacquiao have several more options ahead and they can return to action soon.
