Ryan Garcia is desperate for his boxing return in 2022. The young gun had a dismal boxing run last year, and he’s eager to compensate for the same. For that, Garcia even had an opponent in mind, and that was Isaac Cruz. Both the men, at one point, seemed on the line for a fight in March or April. But nothing official came out as of now.

Recently, a video of Ryan Garcia surfaced on the internet wherein he spoke about a few details about this fight. ‘King Ry’ also commented on offering Cruz more money compared with what he got against Gervonta Davis in his last fight.

He said, “Cruz didn’t want to fight me guys, and that’s the god honest truth. I would have fought him in a heart, no problem. It’s all good, bigger and better things, bigger and better things.”

Suddenly, a teammate on the backseat added, “You guys offered him more money than ‘Tank’ did.”

“You hear that? Say that one more time,” asserted Garcia.

“They even offered Ryan more money than ‘Tank’ did,” he said again.

Correcting him, Garcia said, Cruz, we offered Cruz more money”.

Isaac Cruz, in his scuffle against Davis, was guaranteed $300,000 with a 40% share in PPV. With that, his total earnings from this fight might have surged to $600,000.

Garcia, in his above comments, clearly added that they offered Cruz more money than what he made against ‘Tank’. But he didn’t reveal the actual purse details behind the same.
